International Musical Fireworks Competition

 

The International Musical Fireworks Competition organised by Monaco’s City Council offers four spectacular evenings during the summer.

 

The festival was created in 1966 as part of the events to celebrate the centenary of the sovereign ruling which established the district of Monte-Carlo. A top level contest, it was the first of its kind to be held on the Côte d’Azur and offers some truly breathtaking firework displays in Port Hercule.

 

Of all the firework festivals in the world, the Monte-Carlo show is the only one to bring so many nations and different competitors together.
